Draconian es una banda de doom metal con influencias del metal gótico procedente de Suecia.

El inicio de Draconian se puede remontar a mayo de 1994, cuando Johan Ericson (baterista, vocal), Andy Hindenäs (guitarrista) y Jesper Stolpe (bajo, vocal) unieron fuerzas para crear Kerberos, un conjunto de Doom Metal Melódico con influencias del Black Metal. Siete meses después, el vocalista y poeta Anders Jacobsson se unió a la banda, quien entonces cambió su nombre al cuál es hoy.

Las guitarras pesadas y los growl intensos junto a voces féminas románticas y arreglos melancólicos de piano. Draconian inmaculadamente une estos elementos para crear una simbiosis perfecta del Gothic Metal y el Doom
